Growing up, I was always surrounded by a community of caregivers, and a mother who was known to be the neighborhood mom. Caregiving came easy to me from watching my mother take care of the elderly, and learning how to advocate for those who couldn’t advocate for themselves.After years of observing her, it led to my early interaction with caregiving. Once I graduated from high school, I continued to care for the elderly as a caregiver in church and did everything from running errands to taking the elderly to their doctor appointments.A few years later, I got more involved in the industry working diligently to improve caregiving experiences for all the amazing people I got to care for. Very early on in my career, I saw several opportunities for improvement, and after working on the business side of caregiving, it inspired me to bridge the gap by opening my own business to provide the level of care I know every client deserves.I have always approached every client as a family member. I treat my clients the way I would want a caregiver to treat my parents or grandparents, and that’s the core mission of Lilly’s Home Care. I wanted to focus more on the quality of care and really get back to the heart of caring.To this very day, I have become friends with so many of my clients, and built amazing relationships with some amazing people I cared for. This is more than a business. This is family.
